When I heard Jaclyn Hill was collaborating with Becca again, after all the success of Champagne Pop, I was very excited to see what she’d come up with next!
The blush/highlighter duos are amazing, it’s everything I love about Becca blushes and highlighters in one. I tried 3 of the colors, Pampelmousse, Amaretto, and Flowerchild. Here are my thoughts one each:
Pampelmousse/Prosecco Pop- I’m madly in love with Becca’s Champagne Pop highlighter, so you can imagine how great Prosecco Pop is, when I say I might like it better than Champagne Pop! It’s a little more yellow gold, than the peachy gold of Champagne Pop. The Pampelmousse blush is a bright, magenta pink. I’d say it’s suitable for light-medium to deeper skin tones. It might be too bright for very fair skin. All the colors are very pigmented and blendable, typical of the quality I’ve come to know from Becca.
Flowerchild/Champagne Pop- This one is a universal golden peach. It’s a very wearable, everyday blush. I’d say it’s most comparable to Nars Orgasm.
Amaretto/Prosecco Pop- This is the only one out of the 3 that wasn’t for me. Amaretto is too brown for me to be a blush, it’s more of a bronzer. It’s very similar to Mac’s Warm Soul. I have so many bronzers I prefer over this color, and when I use a bronzer, I need to add a pop of color to my cheeks to avoid looking muddy.
Altogether these are lovely blushes, with the added convenience of a coordinating highlighter in the same pan. Just find the color that works best for you! Happy
