Tatcha Pure One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil– I got this to go with the Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. It’s intended to be used as step 1 in a 2 step cleanse. You apply this to your face with your fingers, not a cotton round, then rinse off with water, followed by step 2. I like this oil because it has a thicker consistency than others I’ve used. It successfully removed my makeup, including a matte red lip stain!

Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder– I love this! It is a rice powder cleanser that is gentle, yet effective. When used as step 2, following the Tatcha Pure One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, it removed all my makeup and left my skin soft and radiant. I was surprised at how effective it was, considering how gentle it felt on the skin.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm– This one wasn’t for me. While I enjoyed the warming sensation of it, it left an oily film on my skin, even after it was fully rinsed off. If you have drier skin, you might enjoy this.

Marc Jacobs Genius Gel foundation– I know I’m late to try this! I had to check it out after hearing so many great things about it. It’s light to medium coverage and because of its gel formula, it doesn’t feel or look heavy on the skin. It wore well on my combination skin, and has a natural (neither matte, nor luminous) finish. It’s the perfect foundation for a strobing look, that way your highlight is noticeable, but you don’t look greasy or too shiny.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Light– I love the idea of a long wearing foundation, however, the original Double Wear formula was too heavy of coverage for me. I was excited to learn there was a light version available. I wore this over the weekend for the first time, on a day I knew I would be wearing it for a long time. I was attending a friend’s birthday event that consisted of several activities throughout the day. During a midday trip to the restroom, I looked at how it was wearing, and it was perfect! By the time I got home that night, it still looked flawless! I’d say this one also has a natural finish, that is slightly more matte at first, but gets more luminous as it wears. As a note, these colors run very dark. I had originally tried shade 3.5, which would normally work for me but I ended up having to exchange it for shade 2.5.
